Matt Chisholm - Time out tour

Thanks to the Rural Support Trust and the inspiring Matt Chisholm, the Time Out Tour delivered a night that was not only thought-provoking but deeply moving.

Matt Chisholm, TV presenter turned sheep and beef farmer, shared his personal journey with mental health struggles, offering a raw and relatable insight into his experiences. His honesty and vulnerability resonated with everyone in the room, reminding us that it’s okay to not be okay—and that support is always within reach.

The event wasn’t just about hearing Matt’s story, though. It was about coming together as a community, catching up with familiar faces, and having those real, honest conversations that can make all the difference. Matt’s tips on building resilience and his message of hope struck a chord with everyone in attendance, leaving us feeling empowered to look after ourselves and each other.

With humour, humility, and heart, Matt made sure the evening wasn’t just educational but also entertaining. He had the room laughing, nodding in agreement, and perhaps even shedding a tear or two. It was a reminder of the power of storytelling and how it can bring people together in the most meaningful ways.

A big thank you to the Rural Support Trust for making this event possible and to everyone who came along. Let’s keep the conversation going, check in with one another, and make sure no one in our rural communities feels alone.
