Woolshed Workshops
During the months of April & May 2024, the West Waikato Coastal Community Catchment Group held a series of workshops across the catchment area, we had a fantastic turnout and great conversations.
The goal was simple: introduce farmers to our group, share what we’re about, and show how we can support you with things like Freshwater Farm Plans and Farm Assurance Programme (FAP) certification.
Robyn Bregmen kicked off each event by sharing the story behind our group—why we started and how we’re working together to build a stronger, more sustainable future for farming in our community.
Rob Macnab brought a practical touch with his insights into the benefits of joining the group.
Aaron Dodunski from Greenlea talked about FAP Plus, breaking down what’s required and why it matters. His straightforward advice gave farmers confidence that these standards aren’t just achievable—they’re also a great way to future-proof their farms.
To everyone who attended, asked questions, or even just stopped by for a cuppa—thank you! You’re the reason these workshops were such a success. If you missed out but want to learn more, get in touch. We’d love to hear from you!
